Early Beginnings (1901 – 1922)
Frederik E. Zuellig sails to Manila in 1901 to embark on a career in international business. By 1922, he acquires full ownership of Lutz & Zuellig, focused on consumer health from Switzerland and Tansan mineral water from Japan, incorporating it as F. E. Zuellig, Inc. with offices in Manila, Cebu, Ilo Ilo, Zurich and New York.
